A Showdown Invitation

The doors to the Sheriff Department burst open to reveal the Raincoat Killer (aka George) beckoning York to follow him into another, much larger version, of the Other World Sheriff Department.

Make a right down the hallway then turn the corner and grab the [Agent Honor (Red)] before returning to the entrance to follow the hallway to the left. Destroy the boxes that block the path around the corner and pick up another [Agent Honor (Red)] by an exploding barrel.

Continue down the hall dodging or killing the Shadows along the way and enter the only interactable door located to the left.

Destroy the boxes and exploding barrels inside the room and pick up some [Agent Honor (Blue)] and a [Stabilizer] then exit through the door in the back.

There’s not much you can do here besides observe Emily and Thomas’ work spaces so continue on to the next room.

    Antler-less Deerhead

In this next room the walls are lined with stuffed deer heads. Three of the deer heads are turned upside down and missing their antler. The exit in the back of the room is currently barricaded by three sets of antlers and behind the desk in the back corner is a [Steel Pipe]. To unlock the exit simply shoot or hit each of the three antler-less deer heads with the weapon of your choice so they turn right-side up. Each time one of the heads is knocked right side up a set of antlers recedes from the door causing new Shadow to appear within the room. You can kill these enemies if you wish but it is not necessary to actually exit the room.

In the next hallway the Raincoat Killer will bust through one of the doors to the left and taunt York before fleeing down the hall. Enter the door he came from to pick up [Thomas’ Biscuit] off Thomas’ desk in the middle of the small room.

    Thomas’ Desk

Leave the small room and exit through the door at the end of the hallway and encounter the Raincoat Killer once again.

While standing still at the back of the large room the Raincoat Killer will repeatedly throw his large axe at York which you can easily dodge by pressing [B]. Run towards the killer until York gets close enough to spook him into fleeing then search around and grab the three [Agent Honor (Red)] and the [Golf Club] that’s scattered around the room.

Repeat the process in the next room and pick up a [First Aid Kit (Small)], [Cola], and an [Agent Honor (Red)] once the Raincoat Killer flees.

    Run towards the RCK.

In the storage room filled with the filing cabinets proceed directly through the door directly in front of York and enter a long hallway that leads into a small room containing a phone, toolbox, suitcase, bed to sleep on, an [Agent Honor (Red)], and a [Curvy-Tailed Flying Squirrel Key].

Grab the key and be prepared to fight two Crawling Shadows in the long hallway and before returning to the storage room.

Search the first interactable cabinet on the right to pick up a [Stabilizer] and the second cabinet to the left for a [First Aid Kit (Medium)] then use the [Curvy-Tailed Flying Squirrel Key] to open the door at the back of the room.

Continue forward until you enter a large storage room that’s on fire. On the shelves to the left is a plate of [Smoked Salmon] and there are three [Agent Honor (Reds)] in the back right corner. Exit through the door around the corner to enter another large storage room.

Pick up a [First Aid Kit (Small)] from the shelf on the right side of the room, a bar of [Chocolate] on the left side, and finally some [12 Gauge Shotgun Shells] from the shelf next to the exit.

The Raincoat Killer awaits behind the door. Run towards him and dodge his axe whenever prompted and pick up the three [Agent Honor (Reds)] scattered around the room one he flees.

In the next room open the door to York’s left and enter a small room containing some boxes and Emily’s desk. Pick up the [Emily’s Bagel Sandwich] off the desk, the [Agent Honor (Red)], and destroy the boxes for a [Coffee (Black)].

Return to the main room and continue forward through a large metal door that automatically opens upon York’s approach.

In the next room York must run by several shooting stalls containing Shadows armed with shotguns. There’s several boxes and barrels that block the path to the exit so it is best to kill each Shadow before moving forward so York won’t get shot while trying to move or destroy the objects that block his path. Pick up the [Agent Honor (Red)] by the last stall then exit through the automatic metal door.

Be ready to evade another Raincoat Killer attack in the cell block then enter the only open cell located in the back of the room. Destroy the boxes and barrels inside for some [Agent Honor (Blue)] then exit through the double doors in the back of the cell.

    George eats the seeds.

Climb the long and wide staircase while collecting the nine [Agent Honor (Reds)] scattered along the way. There’s are also several boxes and barrels off to the sides that York can destroy to pick up some [5.56 x 45 Bullets], a bar of [Chocolate], a [First Aid Kit (Medium)], [10mm Auto Bullets], as well as an [Ice Axe] and [Shovel] leaning against the walls. With all these items in hand exit through the door located at the top of the stairs.

The next room contains a bed, suitcase, toolbox, and a mirror for York to shave. Pick up the [Turkey Sandwich] off the table and make sure York is equipped with both the [.357 Magnum (∞)] and [10mm Submachine Gun (∞)] then use the phone to save since since the next boss fight of the game is behind the door. If you neglected to pick up the [.357 Magnum (∞)] buy a normal [.357 Magnum] and bullets from Panda Bear via the toolbox.

George goes into a long monologue that covers his infatuation with Emily, how he learned of the red seed’s power, and why he is the “divine chosen one” on the Sheriff Department roof. After consuming some red seeds George bulks up and boasts that Carol’s death has not only brought him eternal strength but immortality as well.

It’s time for York to prove him wrong!

Like Thomas George has several attacks that involve quick time events to evade:

An example of a dodge button combo.

    • Attack #1: George will walk slowly towards. Once York is in direct sight he’ll charge forward and swing his axe. Evade by simply side stepping and if he’s gotten too close complete the three button combo that is prompted.
    • Attack #2: George will stand back and throw the axe at York. Simply evade by pressing [B] whenever prompted
    • Attack #3: If York is too close George may grab the agent. Hit a three button combo to avoid being thrown onto the ground when prompted. If you fail you must wiggle the left analog stick to avoid George’s axe swing.

    Aim for the scars!

George is only vulnerable on the scars on his back which are only exposed briefly after he attacks York. The [.357 Magnum (∞)] is best weapon to use during this fight since it’s the strongest firearm and it’s easier to target the limited area at a distance and prevent getting caught in a quick time event.

To get in a good shot hold your ground and wait for George to charge forward. Side step his attack by hitting the bumpers, then complete a quick 180° and shoot his back once it is exposed after his initial axe swing. Be careful though, if you are too close to George a quick time event will occur which will cause York to dive off to the side and you’ll miss your chance to shoot.

Another good opportunity to hit George is when he stands still and taunts York. Listen for the sound of his axe hitting his hand then run around and target his back before he moves.

After a direct hit using either method above George will fall to his knees and momentarily leave his back exposed for a second shot. Try not to miss this opportunity!

Using the [.357 Magnum (∞)] you can deplete George’s life bar in just six direct hits!

George continues his monologue and explains the effect the red seeds had on his victims libidos and and divulges how learning of the Raincoat Killer ritual from Thomas made George realize that his hardships were just preparing him for something more. Ultimate power.

He then goes Super Saiyan and the second phase of this battle begins.

    Grabbing York

George is bigger but his attacks are the same:

    • Attack #1: George will walk slowly towards. Once York is in direct sight he’ll charge forward and swing his axe. Evade by simply side stepping and if he’s gotten too close complete the three button combo that is prompted.
    • Attack #2: George will stand back and throw the axe at York. Simply evade by pressing [B] whenever prompted
    • Attack #3: If York is too close George may grab the agent. Hit a three button combo to avoid being thrown onto the ground when prompted. If you fail you must wiggle the left analogue stick to avoid George’s over the head axe swing.

Continue using the [.357 Magnum (∞)] and repeat the offensive tactics used during the first phase of the battle. George’s life bar should completely deplete after six direct hits!

Once you deplete his life bar once more George begins to cry to his mother that he didn’t do anything wrong. That the real blame lies with someone who pushed him into commit these acts after giving him a present that filled him with confidence and made George realize he was blessed. George demands York return the locket with the upside down peace mark since only the “chosen one” can own it according to the same unnamed third party.

This last portion of the battle is super easy. George stands in place and throws the axe towards York. Switch to the [10mm Submachine Gun (∞)] and shoot the axe as it flies towards York’s head. Once you hit it enough times the axe will change direction and fly directly into George’s chest.

    Ketucky Fried Sheriff

Lightning strikes from the sky hitting the axe frying George to a crisp. The world returns to normal and York overcome with exhaustion falls unconscious.

    Unfinished Business

  • Trading Card No. 28 Valentine Morgan

    None

A young York stands before a long pathway carpeted with red leaves and surrounded by trees. Lining the path directly ahead are the Twin Angels, all of George’s victims, Thomas, and even York’s parents.

Immediately turn around and grab [Trading Card No. 28 Valentine Morgan] by the door behind York then speak with everyone along the path to unlock the exit door.

Behind the door the man in white and Emily await inside a white room. The man informs York that there’s something he still needs to do and implores him to open a white envelope that sits among several clues from the Greenvale investigation on a small table in front of Emily.

Emily doesn’t speak and the man only repeats his request so quickly accept the envelope to have adult York wake in a Greenvale Hospital bed.

York, who’s been unconscious for the past thirty hours, is upset to learn from Ushah that Emily never made it in for emergency care.

Even more surprising we learn that Kaysen was the one to bring York in and has left him an envelope containing a hand drawn [Map] to George’s house and a [Key from Kaysen].

    Watch out for dogs!

York quickly dresses and leaves the hospital with a sinking feeling that this murder case hasn’t ended with George’s death. This situation really adds menace to Kaysen’s last warning to York the other night. 🙁

All of York’s available vehicles are parked outside. Choose one then begin the long drive across town to George’s residence.

Extremely worried about Emily York has made the realization that even though George was the Greenvale killer his demise didn’t actually solve the other murders related to the red seeds across the country.

Along the route Mad Wild Dogs will drop from the sky and attempt to block York’s car but it’s easy to swerve and avoid them. Once York reaches George’s home enter the green ring in the driveway.

Wire used in the crime scenes

Using the [Key from Kaysen] York enters the residence and is shocked to see the squalor George has been living. The house is dark and dingy, boards cover all the windows, and there’s little to no furniture.

Seeing the state of the George’s home really puts a new spin on why he never invited York inside…

Remove the tarp and enter the first doorway on right. The room is bare save for a mattress, some cabinets, and a cluster of mannequins. Pick up the [First Aid Kit (Medium)] then continue through another tarped doorway to see some of the supplies George utilized at the murder scenes in the next room.

Head into George’s filthy kitchen and destroy the mannequins in the corner to pick up an [Agent Honor (Red)] then head into the bathroom and pick up [Trading Card No.62 Stuffed Deer] off the back of the toilet.

Once you’ve explored all these rooms return to the front of the house and investigate the tarp with the red sparkles then push the wall to reveal a hidden staircase.

Down below the walls are covered in illegible scribbles and evidence bags holding items Emily used are strung throughout the room. Off to one side is a board full of pictures of the Deputy Sheriff many of which look as though she was unaware.

    An obsession with Emily

I think George’s stalker den is probably the most disturbing place in the game so far. Let’s hope Emily never has to see this….jfc.

The doorway to the next room has been boarded over but there appears to be another opening behind the armoire. Push it aside and discover the corpse of George’s mother sitting in a red armchair.

    What. the. Hell. man…

After York examines one of the red branches growing from Mrs. Woodman’s eye sockets he realizes that the upside down peace mark he’s been seeing everywhere actually represents a tree. He also realizes that the “FK” in his coffee revealed in his coffee first day was warning him about that the true mastermind behind all the red seed murders was Forrest Kaysen.

On the table beside the corpse is a picture of Kaysen and George with a note directing us to the theater. It’s time to take Kaysen out and save Emily!
