Ultimate Deadly Premonition Fan Winners!

By Whitney | Uncategorized | 0 comment | 20 October, 2012 | 0

Thanks everyone for entering my contest, we had so many good entries!

Fan Vote Winner: Ayustar

First congratulations to Ayustar for winning the Facebook fan vote with an amazing 83 votes!

I wasn’t going to enter the contest because I figured maybe other people would be ‘bigger’ fans, I guess I don’t really know how to explain it, lol. Maybe I didn’t have much to contribute, I am not sure. I only have my fan art to submit, I don’t have pictures of my Deadly Premonition manicure yet unfortunately.

I don’t want to claim to be ‘the biggest fan’ because there’s always someone else, lol. Regardless, I am a fan, it’s my favourite game. Why? I guess for one it isn’t your typical game. The characters and the game itself are both memorable. Being able to reference the game in everyday life among friends is also nice. There is a lot of content in the game, the side missions are great. Every character in the game is unique. It isn’t a game I will only play once and never touch again. That’s pretty important to me in a game. It might not be the most pretty, well put together game but it more than makes up for it with it’s story and characters. I usually watch people play a lot of games because I am not great at playing them myself to be honest. I found that I could play Deadly Premonition myself with no problems. I got use to the driving and the controls. The combat became easier too. I still hate the map and moving boxes in the storeroom!! The game may not be for everyone, and that’s ok.

This is the worst rambly write up ever : ( At any rate, I love Deadly Premonition and I think your site is fantastic!

I hope I didn’t miss anything here lol.

Judge’s Choice Winner: Fred

It was pretty hard for me to make a choice since all the entries were so awesome but I finally decided on Fred as my chosen winner.

“I think I am an ultimate DP fan because it is out of every single game I’ve played the past 8 years, the best and most entertaining one. I wouldn’t choose any game over DP.

Here are some of my things I can show you that I have at the momment. My gamertag is lIlIlIl 1, I have you added on xbl.

1st is my green custom painted RSP Xbox 360 console. The reason why I chose RSP instead of DP is because the xbox plays Japan imports / is an NTSC-J console that I bought from Japan, so I though it would be better to make it RSP so when I play RSP on it, it is a better match. I also installed red LED lights instead of green, shown in one of the pictures attached. They look really bright on camera but they are actually a good solid red color.

Also, Deadly Premonition for the Xbox 360, a NEW copy of Red Seeds Profile for PS3, and I am still waiting on my RSP for 360 so I don’t have that now so I can’t show it…

A keychain of the Raincoat Killer, a custom made mousepad I designed, an A&G Diner Mug just like the one in-game, with a coaster with the same design as my mousepad, and for my room I got a custom made poster of work in the red room at the very starting of the game.

Some others I attached from my xbox I have: Custom Xbox360 Dashboard, The official DP gamerpics, leaderboards, and achievements.”

I chose Fred as the “Ultimate Fan” because of how much time he has invested both playing the game and making his custom Deadly Premonition items. That Red Seeds Profile Xbox of his is jaw droppingly cool! I really wish I could have one of my own! His rank on the leader board is also very impressive. Believe me getting into the top 10 is no easy task and takes hours upon hours of gameplay to rank that high (he’s actually above me on the boards now! Watch out Fred I’m going to take back my spot :))

I’d like to think I’m an “Ultimate Deadly Premonition Fan” but I think I may have just met my match with Fred here! Congrats 🙂
