Director’s Cut – US and UK Release Dates and DLC Pre-order Bonuses!

If you aren’t sure whether or not to pre-order the Director’s Cut (releasing April 26 in Europe and April 30th in the US) maybe this will tempt you!

If you pre-order from certain retailers in North America and the UK (detailed below) and you will receive some sort of exclusive downloadable content. Unfortunately neither press release I received detailed what the content is but I have to say I’m intrigued!

It seems though according the Rising Stars Games UK Press Release that EU Playstation Plus members will also have an addition DLC incentive as well (again no details on the particulars of this content have been revealed). I hope that’s something US Playstation Plus members can expect as well!

UK Press ReleaseFrom now through to its UK release date, fans who pre-order the highly anticipated title (from participating retailers) will receive exclusive downloadable content. Participating retailers across the UK include GAME, Amazon, and will also include a group of dedicated independent retailers via Advantage Distribution. In addition, Rising Star Games is excited to be working closely with Sony Entertainment Network on a digital pre-order incentive that will be offered exclusively to Playstation®Plus members.

For gamers who have yet to subscribe to PlayStation Plus, Rising Star Games has teamed up with Sony to offer customers a free 30-day trial membership of PlayStation Plus. This will be available on a limited run of Deadly Premonition: The Director’s Cut and is exclusive to boxed retail copies.

The dedicated website for Deadly Premonition: The Director’s Cut lists the retailers across all territories who are participating in the campaign: www.deadlypremonitionthegame.com.

North American Press ReleaseFrom now through its North American release date of April 30, 2013, fans who reserve the highly-anticipated title (from participating retailers, including Amazon.com and Gamestop) will receive downloadable content so plush, that Agent York (and Zach) will feel like their investigation in the small country town of Greenvale just turned into a vacation.
