Deadly Premonition Director’s Cut New Scenes

By Whitney | Director's Cut | 10 comments | 5 May, 2013 | 0

All the new Cut Scenes from Deadly Premonition Director’s Cut. I think I recorded them all but I still have to double check I might have accidentally skipped one.

Thanks LOADS for uploading all of these! In lieu of being able to play the actual game, these were the part I was most interested in, because, y’know… it’s the new stuff.

Dem ending feels T_T ALL of the feels. From the deep heartbroken sadness at “He must be losing his memory” to the sweetness of “I never saw that coming” to even a little giggle at “Two weeks of only walking backwards.” And I love the way they tied it into the classic epilogue scene. Aww.

It sucks that this is the only new content. But it was a cool ending, hinting at DP2… With old Zach. Lol

it was odd it the first scene I joined the old guy in saying “sometimes we must purge things from this world because they should not exist. Even if that means losing someone you love” (the quotes not the same is that the quote from the first game?)

4:55 WHAT! A NEW VOCAL SONG?! -squee- ok please tell me Swery has given us the lyrics to this and the other songs

“I think I recorded them all”

There is no need to record this pre-rendered scenes from console. You could use PC Bluray drive for disc access or download game from torrents to reach the videos folder. It’s about 8,5 Gigs and contains game movies in PAM container (MPEG2 720p + convertible proprietary Sony audio format). And you can have so good as best quality from all prerendered game videos with proper pre-youtube conversion. So says Mr. Stewart.

My computer won’t read the PS3 disc. Is there a special program you need?

      • David Mills Reply May 14, 2013 at 3:14 am

I suppose that the disc must recognize like an ordinary data disc. Just make sure that you have the Blu-ray drive, not a DVD 🙂

I have a RW Bluray in my computer. I looked on line and it looks like only a certain type of Bluray RW will read the discs. http://forums.dashhacks.com/ps3-help/281385-why-my-pc-cant-read-ps3-games.html

Then you just need to download a copy of the game through torrents. If you’ll find one without archived files – simply download only the movies folder (/#DISC#/PS3_GAME/USRDIR/UPDATA/MOVIE/).
