The success of Deadly Premonition in the US this year has surprised many but could anyone have expected this newest development? Deadly Premonition director, SWERY65, tweeted today that Twin Peaks co-creators David Lynch and Mark Frost are in talks to adapted his quirky game title into a 7 part miniseries!

Critics and gamers alike have often brought up the parallels of the characters and storyline of Deadly Premonition with Lynch and Frost’s the short lived 1990’s television. No word on casting just yet but rumors are already flying that we will some familiar faces from the cast of Twin Peaks playing Greenvale residents. With these three working together to bring Deadly Premonition to the small screen it will be a real treat see what what they will ultimately come up with! Look for the mini series premiere April 1, 2012!
